On the 14th of November, we travelled to Friargate to meet with other students from all the special schools from across Coventry.
Jeanette Essex talked to us about the money she had asked the government for to help young people with special needs to socialise.
She also talked about our EHCP and annual reviews - we said we would help her to make these more interesting for young people.
We also met Chis Firth and Nimmi from SENDIASS they explained what the Shadow Board was and we chose the name 'Coventry Strong Voices' to represent the group.
Next time we are meeting at Hereward college.
We also got bags, a pen and a badge.
We had to introduce ourselves to the group ( about 40 people) - that was scary .

Since then we have continued to meet on a termly basis at City College and at Riverbank Academy.
