ES SUMMER

ES summer school is a safe place for fun and learning where children build confidence, make new friends, and grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. They find their voices, discover new passions, and create lifelong memories. In the mornings, students typically have reading, math, science, English language, and P.E. The afternoon schedule will include special classes such as art, movement and sports, origami, games, science experiments, cooking, drama, stop motion video, and coding and robotics.

PRE-K 3, PRE-K 4, and KG

Our young ones will learn about the world around them through nature-based activities that nurture the imagination, encourage art and movement, and foster creativity and social connections. As they “learn by doing” and experiment with new ideas and tools with fun, skill-based, and developmentally appropriate lessons, topics covered in the past school year will be reinforced and expanded upon!

This academic exploration expedition will also see students riding in a STEAM train of activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) that will spark curiosity, ignite thinking, and strengthen problem-solving skills! Our young ones will learn to internalize concepts and skills collaboratively and excitingly!

GRADES 1 to 5

As a smaller setting, ES summer school is a fantastic opportunity for a more focused learning experience to help young ones find their voice and continue learning, socializing, and growing. With an emphasis on fun and collaboration, students will be encouraged to enjoy time together instead of in front of computer screens and have opportunities for leading and passion projects.

With each day bound to bring a new adventure, summer school students can explore writing, reading, literacy, math, science, and other subjects. Students will focus on practicing and consolidating skills individually and in groups. Exciting lessons featuring many games and activities will balance the day and help them build their inner confidence to express themselves better.

Special Summer activities will include a Dot-Painting Class taught by Bangkok Artist Amy Diener, a field trip to Bounce, themed dress-up days, and more!

In this course, students will explore the magic of animation and experience the wonder and joy of their creativity in motion by creating 2D and 3D animation video projects. Students will learn the basics of animation and digital storytelling, be guided through the process of turning simple images or text into engaging animations, and, with the help of AI tools, create captivating animation videos in just a few clicks.

Art for Early Grades offers a vibrant and engaging program tailored specifically for young minds. Here, they can explore creativity through playful expression. From mark-making to painting, each day promises new adventures in color, shape, and imagination. Let your little ones embark on a joyous exploration of art and unlock their boundless potential this summer!

Board games are great for kids because they offer students opportunities to play, think, and socialize. While playing board games, your child will compete in an inclusive, low-stress environment.

Students will create a video based on a story or book they have read with characters and sets made from clay and paper.  Students will learn how to adapt a story into a script and create a visual scene with small props. Students will use the Stop Motion Video app to create their movie.

In collage art, students will study masters of collage like Matise, Braque and Picasso to inspire them to create their own masterpiece. Rather than drawing and painting or coloring, the artwork will be made entirely from scraps of paper and cardboard to create an almost three dimensional piece. Students will be given the choice to create a still life, portrait, landscape or abstract work.

The ES Culinary Arts summer course is designed to get students comfortable in the kitchen. Students will learn the basics of cooking and then enjoy the food they cook—this just might be their new hobby!

Drama allows children to practice expressing ideas, improve their speaking skills, and build social confidence. It can also provide a safe space for them to perform in front of others. In this class, students will learn about drama techniques and prepare for a mini-performance.

Younger students will be given a well known story, film or picture and asked to create a lego build based on that. Older students will be given a theme and asked to create a lego build based on that. They will then present to the other students in the class what their build is and how it connects to the theme

Mindfulness can benefit children of all ages. In this class, students will be provided with the time, space, and tools to learn how to focus on the present, face daily challenges, build self-awareness, and strengthen their self-esteem.

Origami is an art of paper folding that originated in Japan. It is a fun activity that facilitates the development of fine motor skills, boosts creativity, and enhances patience.

Indoor and outdoor, striving for your best. Individual, partners, and teams based. By keeping a healthy mind, body, and spirit, we will venture out of the classroom and give academia a rest. With our many facilities—fields, courts, swimming pools, and equipment for all sports—we will play games we love and learn new games. This is a time to make friends, show our leadership skills in many sports, and take advantage of the fantastic weather. Bring your love of sport and your water bottle!

Designed by Yoga for Kids Thailand, this group yoga exercise activity will focus on the learner’s strength and encourage learners to use their positive energy effectively. Topics such as meditation, relaxation, and mindfulness will be touched on in class, with breathing exercises and at least 10 to 15 yoga poses practiced per time. Students will see how yoga works the brain, improves strength, and empowers consciousness through mindful movement.

Designed by Zumba® Fitness, this class is a rockin', high-energy dance party packed with kid-friendly routines. It is a perfect opportunity for students to socialize with friends and jam out to their favorite tunes.
