POLICY
Each year, we offer three EDP sessions of 10-11 weeks per session. Each session will guarantee 9 hours of instruction, other than session 3 will guarantee 8 hours. No make-up classes will be held, but some classes may be cancelled due to teacher illness or holiday (as long as guaranteed hours are still met). For the current academic year, RIS has put the following policies into practice to ensure a safe, fair, and well-managed program for our local community.
Families must register through the online EDP Interest Form in order for students to take part in a course. Please note that students may only register for one course per day.
Courses that do not reach the minimum number of participants will be canceled. Families will be notified by the EDP Team if this occurs.
When a course reaches the maximum number of students, it will be closed and no longer available as an option on the registration form.
Families should only make payment once a course is confirmed by the EDP Coordinator. A payment form will be sent to the email address used in the registration form.
Students can cancel a course during the first week of EDPs. To be refunded, they must first notify edp@rism.ac.th of their cancellation via email and receive an acknowledgment from the EDP Coordinator. Proof of acknowledgment (e.g. printout or screenshot) must be shown to the RIS Finance Office to claim the refund.
Students are not allowed to change courses or receive refunds after the second week of classes has been completed.
We will follow RIS's AQI policy found here.
Thank you for your support and cooperation. For any questions, please contact edp@rism.ac.th.
Course cancellation policy:
Classes may be canceled by the school or instructor at any time, provided that the guaranteed hours for each session are still fulfilled (9 hours for Sessions One and Two, and 8 hours for Session Three). In the event of cancellations that prevent the fulfillment of the guaranteed hours, course fees will be refunded on a proportional basis. The EDP calendar is established in collaboration between the RIS EDP Coordinator and the RIS Swiss Section Coordinator before the start of the school year, in alignment with the collective school calendars. Any changes to the calendar will only be made with mutual agreement from both parties, in the best interest of both sections.
