Our Gifted Education Setting...
Creative and Inquiry-based Learning
*Provide young learners an environment to engage in learning and projects that are meaningful to them and elicit engagement, higher level learning, and joy
*Collaborate with peers to experiment, share, and celebrate ideas
*Develop a mindset that is comfortable with the discomfort of getting stuck
*Students engage in creative learning when they develop ideas or things that are meaningful to them or to others they care about.
*Creative Coding refers to creating learning experiences that involve coding and/or computing.
FOCUS:
1) help each student understand their giftedness and how to get the most out of education
2) Student-led research projects
3) creative writing that creates a love of the written language
4) rigorous math concepts including Hands-on Equations, Beast Academy, and Continental Math League competition
5) STEM/Robotics and
6) Logic and critical thinking problems

Gifted Education Philosophy
My goal is to help students learn about themselves and their giftedness as they learn, take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.
