Create a Pd patch that will run on your Bela using a simple circuit that we all agree upon & build in class. For the sake of argument, let’s say it’s one potentiometer, or three. In whichever case, all members of the class will use this as a baseline for the creation of simple, self-contained synthesis patches that may be easily distributed to everyone else (these systems should only require uploading patches, and should not require external media files).
In addition to this patch, create a flexible (graphical or text-based) score which could be realized by any number of performers, given this circuit and software—without instruction, other than any supplemental writing that accompanies the score itself.
You will have a large ensemble-in-residence to work with (the members of our class). Please take advantage of both the size of this group and the understandings (musical and otherwise) that we have developed over the course of the semester, while leaving the work open enough that it could be performed successfully by a much smaller ensemble (or even a soloist) with little or no expertise / background in music, experimental or otherwise.
Please upload a zip archive containing all code and materials used for your contribution to the performance to the Google Drive Folder below by Monday, November 6 at 12:59pm.
Please adhere to the naming convention Lastname_Firstname-G5.zip
