Coach's Message:

At Rio Vista, we strive to instill in our scholar athletes the desire to build community within our squad, our school, and with other schools in the surrounding area. We encourage sportsmanship, leadership, and perseverance among many other qualities that we expect our athletes to display on and off the "field." We expect our athletes to remember that they are always representing our school and reflecting the lessons they learn from their coaches, their teammates, and their own experiences.

The Condor Cheer Squad is open to students of ALL genders who earn and maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher, and those who excel above the rest at tryout events. We do have a limited amount of space on the squad, and therefore, tryouts are competitive and cuts have to be made. Find out more about our tryout events on the "Tryout" page.

We encourage anyone with an interest in cheer, dance, sports, etc., to come on out and give it try regardless of experience level or current ability. Potential often goes a long way. Just know that all members of this squad will be held to a high standard of academic, behavior, and athletic excellence.
