GRACEE

Gracee, an 11th-grade AP honor student at Rim of the World High School, has been a dedicated cheerleader at her school for three years and has a total cheerleading experience spanning eight years. Her journey in cheerleading has been incredibly rewarding, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork that she finds unparalleled. She cherishes the excitement of performing at games and competitions and values the opportunity to meet new people, including two of her best friends, Daisy and Katie. 

Gracee's cheerleading experience took a significant turn when she had the chance to travel to Hawaii after trying out for the All-American team during cheer camp. The tryouts required participants to learn and perform a cheer in groups of five, showcasing their abilities in tumbling, jumps, and maintaining confidence with loud, clear voices. Gracee tried out for All-American for the first time this year and successfully made the team which gave her the opportunity to participate in one of Varsity's Special Events.

Upon making the All-American team, Gracee's family quickly decided to seize the opportunity to visit Hawaii. There, she had the privilege of participating in the Pearl Harbor Parade taking place Saturday December 7th through Varsity Special Events, and visiting historical sites such as the Pearl Harbor Memorial, the USS Missouri, and the USS Arizona. The trip was an unforgettable experience for Gracee, filled with moving moments and the honor of witnessing significant historical landmarks firsthand. Additionally, exploring Hawaii's beautiful landscapes and culture added even more to the adventure. 

Gracee highly recommends the All-American experience to any cheerleader who makes the team at cheer camp, as it offers unique opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime. Looking ahead to her senior year, Gracee plans to try out for  captain of the cheer team and continue creating lasting memories through her passion for cheerleading.
