As an Attendee

I want to know what the coaching session looks like.

  • It is simple. Come up to the clinic and post your name and topic on the board to be coached.
  • Appointments are 15 minutes. You can request two in a row or extend a session if no one was waiting.
  • Regular clinic hours are conference breaks, an hour prior to the first session and an hour after the last session.
  • You can sign up for multiple appointments.
  • You can walk in and get immediate appointments if a coach is available.
  • You will have a coach help you based on their availability and if they feel they are a good match for your topic. The coaches are highly qualified and hold distinguished certifications such as Scrum Alliance's CEC, CTC, and CST and more. See qualifications on the 'As a Coach' page.
  • We would love for you to post feedback about our experience as you leave as well.

I want to know what topics I can be coached on.

Anything related to Agile and your growth as an Agilist. We have very experienced coaches with a wide range of expertise.

A list of popular topics from Agile 2016 can be found here.

I want to be coached in a sales-free and safe environment.

  • Your coaching session is confidential between the coach and the coachee. The topics may be shared for the sake of learning from other coaches, but the coachee and their organization should not be mentioned unless the coachee provides consent.
  • Selling or marketing services would create an unsafe space and is not permitted in the coaching clinic. Trading business cards is OK.

I want my team to join me in a coaching session.

Absolutely, remember the session will be for 15 minutes only, so, it would be good to focus on one topic as a team.
