Students wishing to build their foundation for the next school year can register for the Honors Audit option. These math classes give students an opportunity to preview the math class at a reduced rate, before they take the class during the school year. This option provides students with the ability to sit through the course and take part in class discussions and activities while learning the principles and formulas they will apply in the upcoming school year. This is recommended for students wishing to get a head start on their upcoming math classes, but do not want to worry about grades. Students who participate in this option achieve confidence and are more prepared for the upcoming school year. Students will complete the curriculum of the course, but will not receive a grade for their transcript.
*Algebra 1 Advanced (Audit) offers the same opportunities as Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra 2, but with no formal assessments. The teacher will provide students with informal assessments to determine what information needs reinforcement while moving through the curriculum.*
For accelerated or honor level students going into 9th grade--Registration will be found under Middle School Enrichment Classes
