Students accepted to the program are enrolled as a cohort. They are scheduled into the required RAHP courses and are encouraged to enroll in additional coursework that will fulfill the graduation requirements in the first and second years of the program.
The RAHP courses offer a unique curriculum that provides focus on medicine and health-care. Students will be immersed in their relevant studies but with extension and application to concepts within the study of medicine. The core RAHP courses are honors level courses of study.
Field trips and guest speakers are provided to the students throughout the three years of the program. The Valley Hospital and Bergen Community College host the students and they are afforded an up-close experience to health care and current, medical practices in many areas of health-care. Attendance at all field trips is mandatory.
