Hi everyone!

My name is Kristen Sullens and I feel blessed to be part of the Union Ridge team and a partner in your child's education. This year marks my seventeenth year in the classroom and my eighth year in the Ridgefield School District. 

Being a teacher is my passion and I always knew growing up that teaching young minds was what I was meant to do. After graduating with my Masters in Teaching, I started working in the Vancouver School District where I taught kindergarten and first grade. In 2018, I moved my career to Ridgefield and since then, I have gone on to become Nationally Board Certified and endorsed in English Language Arts.

Originally, I am from the bay area and I moved to Vancouver with my family in 1998. I met my husband Tony while in college and we have been married for fourteen years. Together we have our beautiful almost 12 year old daughter Madeline, our pup Ollie, a handful of fish, and Onyx, my beloved tarantulla. As a family, we love to spend time outside, crafting, playing games, and dancing like no one is watching!

Nine years ago we moved our little family to Ridgefield and since living here, we have absolutely fallen in love. We love being part of such a close knit community and feel blessed to call this beautiful town home.
