Technology: Be prepared to create padlets, animotos, wordles, and other online graphic projects. You will be provided with RCS technology to complete all in-school assignments. Please leave all personal devices at home except if you are reading your FFFF book, or a class novel, on an approved e-reader.

WE ARE A PHONE-FREE SCHOOL. All phones and other personal devices must be stored in your locker.

Absences/Make-up work: If you are absent, plan to have a neighbor, sibling, or family member collect your work. You are always welcome to call or email me if you have any questions. You need to turn in your work the day you return unless you have made other arrangements. This work will not be considered late!

Late work: All assignments should be submitted on time. If you are unable to submit your assignment on time, you are expected to make arrangements with me for an alternative due date. Please make these arrangements via email or in person prior to class. If your work is chronically late we will create a plan to help you complete your work in a timely fashion.

Late assignments will lose 5% on the first day, and 10% on the second day, all the way to a potential loss of 30%. Get your work in on time!

Sign in/Sign Out: When you leave the room for whatever reason (lesson, bathroom, etc) you need to sign out before leaving and sign in upon your return.

Classroom Behavior: I have high expectations of all of my students. One of those expectations is that my students will respect the classroom environment – we maintain a respectful, nurturing, learning environment. Another expectation is that my students will follow the school policies while in my classroom.

In turn, I will adhere to these same expectations. I will provide a safe learning environment for you. Additionally, you can expect me to have sound knowledge of the subject matter and present the material to you clearly. This is our classroom and we all have a role to play!
