The Healing Hearts Grief Program helps children ages 5–18 process the loss of a loved one.

Children connect with peers and express emotions through therapeutic activities as they

navigate the grief process.

Participants attend four classes, each focusing on a different topic: emotions, memories,

coping skills, and changes. Parent/caregiver classes meet concurrently and cover the same

topics, enabling continuous grief work at home.

Fall 2026 Series: August 27, September 24, October 15, and November 19

All programs are FREE, and dinner will be provided. Healing Hearts meets at Prisma Health

Children's Hospital–Midlands. All sessions meet on Thursdays. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.;

classes run 6–8 p.m.

Please note that each session builds on the next. Participants must attend 4 consecutive

monthly sessions to attend our family camp weekend in the fall.
