 SCDiscus – South Carolina’s Virtual Library – is the "information place" for all South Carolinians. Discus, which stands for Digital Information for South Carolina Users, provides free access to an electronic library that’s available 24/7.

Discus Kids includes multimedia resources covering many subjects. Includes high-quality full-length videos, video clips, images, audio files, interactives, maps, and more.  

Discus is a collection of subscription databases with an array of resources ranging from books and magazines to maps and videos. This collection of databases provides high-quality publications in an easy to navigate format for students and teachers alike. Discus allows students to safely search for up-to-date information without sifting through advertisements and non-educational results found in search engines such as Google. Among the top reasons to use subscription databases is it prepares young students to find credible sources for later academic achievement. If you are at home  while using and a username and password is requested, please ask Mrs. Ussery at school.  She will provide you a bookmark with this information.

PebbleGo is a curricular content hub specifically designed for K-3 students. Packed with informational articles, ready-made activities, and literacy supports for students of all abilities, it boosts engagement and fosters independent learning in core subject areas.

PebbleGo Next is a kid-friendly research database for students in grades 3-6. Short text-based descriptions, images, videos, and games provide students with a well-rounded exploration of science- and social studies-related topics.
