Organization Supplies required 

As an AVID student you are required to have an organizational process. We will develop this together but you are allowed some choice.

You need to decide which organizational style will work better for you. As you can see in the image below, you can either have folders and notebooks for each class or a binder system with all classes inside the binder. Please note that AVID requirements are for across ALL of your classes. So if you have science and they require a composition notebook and folder, that is what you will use for science.

Items that AVID will provide for you.

1. EVERY student will be issued a PLANNER/AGENDA to be used across ALL classes.

2. 4 different color highlighters. You may select your own but AVID will provide the colors in the photo below.

Items you need to provide.

If you choose option #1 from below.

1. Notebooks for each class (including AVID)

2. 2 pocket folder for each class (including AVID)

3. Pens / Pencils

4. Pencil pouch or box of your choosing.

5. A backpack of your choosing

If you choose Option #2 from below.

1. A 1 1/2" - 2" binder

2. Filler paper

3. Tabs for each class

4. 3 hole punched 2 pocket folders for each class (or all papers must be 3 hole punched in put in the binder)

5. Pens / Pencils

6. Pencil pouch or box of your choosing.

7. A backpack of your choosing
