Welcome to the Richland Northeast High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NJROTC) — home of excellence, discipline, and leadership!
This year, we are proud to announce that our unit has grown to over 180 dedicated cadets, marking one of the largest and strongest enrollments in our history. Through hard work, teamwork, and a commitment to our core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, our cadets continue to set the standard for success.
We are honored to be recognized as the #1 NJROTC Unit in the State of South Carolina and to rank within the top 20% of units nationwide. This achievement reflects the effort, pride, and professionalism displayed by every cadet, instructor, and supporter of our program.
At Richland Northeast NJROTC, we believe in developing future leaders who are prepared to serve their communities, their country, and themselves with integrity and purpose. Whether on the drill field, in the classroom, or serving the community, our cadets embody what it means to lead by example.
At Richland Northeast High School NJROTC, our mission is to instill in students the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.
We believe that true leadership begins with character. Through disciplined training, academic achievement, and teamwork, our cadets learn the importance of integrity, respect, and accountability — qualities that define not only successful leaders but responsible citizens.
Our program provides opportunities for every cadet to grow in confidence, leadership, and service. Whether through community involvement, drill competitions, academic excellence, or physical fitness, each experience is designed to prepare our cadets to meet life’s challenges with honor and determination.
At Richland Northeast, we live by our motto: “Trust the Process.”
This simple yet powerful statement reminds us that success doesn’t come overnight. It is earned through perseverance, hard work, and commitment to excellence — both in and out of uniform. Every cadet learns that progress takes patience and that leadership is built step by step, one goal at a time.
Together, we stand as a unit dedicated to excellence, discipline, and service — shaping the leaders of tomorrow by trusting the process today.
