About the Unit 

The Richland Northeast NJROTC Unit was established in 1981, and for over four decades, it has been committed to shaping students into disciplined, responsible, and capable leaders. Since its founding, the unit has grown into one of the premier NJROTC programs in South Carolina, consistently achieving excellence in leadership, academics, and community service.

Today, our unit proudly includes over 180 cadets and is recognized as #1 in the state and in the top 30% of NJROTC units nationwide. These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication of our cadets, instructors, and supporters, as well as our strong tradition of excellence.

Our Mission
The mission of the Richland Northeast NJROTC Unit is to instill the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in every cadet. Through a combination of classroom instruction, practical training, and community involvement, cadets develop the skills, knowledge, and character necessary to succeed in life, whether in civilian or military pursuits.
