In CavPlex, students work on a variety of media platforms to tell the stories of Richland Northeast and the surrounding community.
"RNE-TV Live" is a live daily broadcast program. Students run the behind-the-scenes technical aspects, write the script and act as anchors and reporters for each show. Students also create video segments for the show, which includes scriptwriting, shooting video and editing.
Tapestry showcases the artistic accomplishments of Richland Northeast High School’s student body. This year's theme is CONNECTIONS. Students solicit submissions and design, promote and package the literary-arts magazine once a year
The Saber aims to promote student expression while telling accurate stories that reflect the news, personalities, and culture of the Richland Northeast community. All content is 100% student generated, including photos, interactives, stories and all other items posted on the website.
The Archive showcases RNE's diversity and covers the events of the school year by spotlighting academics, clubs, student life, athletics and people. Students write copy, photograph events, design spreads, maintain sales reports, sell advertisements and adhere to deadlines.
Students also use multiple social media platforms to inform RNE and its community. Students use X to cover and send live updates of athletic and school events. Students use Instagram and TikTok to promote the program, student work and upcoming events. Students maintain a marketing plan and interpret analytics from all social media activity.
