Prerequisite Requirements

To take AP African American Studies, Ridge View students must:

• Be able to read at the college level;

• Be recommended by a current or previous teacher or Mr. Soderstrom;

• Be willing to engage with in-depth discussions, readings, writings, and source analysis. It is an AP course, so it requires vigorous work;

• Be in grades 10, 11, or 12.
