Daniel Soderstrom began his teaching career in 2018 at Ridge View High School where he previously interned as a graduate student during his studies at the University of South Carolina. He has taught the African American Studies course nearly thirty times to over six hundred students. In addition to leading AP African American Studies, he is certified to teach AP World History.
Mr. Soderstrom is also employed by College Board and is responsible for helping to expand the new AP African American Studies course so that it can be implemented in all schools across the nation. He serves as a developer of curriculum and examination writing.
