Awesome Uses for Google Drawings in Your Classroom

Google Drawings is part of the Drive suite of tools but is often overlooked. However it is a fantastic program for student learning and teacher instruction. In this session we cover the basics of how Drawings works, and then we try out dozens of practical examples of how it can be used in schools, including graphic organizers, math manipulatives, desktop publishing, interactive digital posters, drag-and-drop poetry, creating memes, making composite "green screen" images, innovative art projects, collaborative games, and more.
Using StoryJumper to Encourage Students to Write and Publish

I will present StoryJumper which can be linked to google classroom. Students can use StoryJumper to write and publish books. Teachers can create a StoryJumper classroom and have students write with a sense of a wider audience. Storyjumper comes with the tools you need to create a book and even a voice recorder to make an audiobook. There are a lot of advantages to using StoryJumper to get your classes writing again!
