Financial Aid

What is Financial aid and how does it work?

Financial aid helps students and their families pay for college. This financial assistance covers educational expenses including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, and transportation. There are several types of financial aid, including grants and scholarships, work study and loans.

What type of aid and how much aid you may receive depends on many factors such as GPA and your parents income.

How and when can I apply for Financial Aid.?

You should apply for financial aid during your senior year of high school. You will either submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or a CADAA (The California Dream Act Application). You will only submit ONE application. Unsure which to fill out? Click HERE to answer a few questions to determine which application is suitable for you.

Think you won't qualify for financial aid? Think again!

Even if you believe that your family makes too much money and you won't qualify for financial aid, you should still apply! There is no income cut off for federal student aid and the only way to find out what you qualify for is by filling out an application!
