What is "Instructional Technology?"
Some say instructional technology is all about computers and videos in the classroom and some say that it's a collection of processes and tools geared at assisting learners learn. The International Society of Technology in Education's (ISTE) vision is one that we very much subscribe to and believe in:
"ISTE’s vision is that all educators are empowered to harness technology to accelerate innovation in teaching and learning and inspire learners to reach their greatest potential."

We've got a flipping revolution going with Flippity! Now that more folks are aware of what it is and it's powerful nature of engaging students around content that you choose and create, it's time to level up our game!
The linked video (a bit lengthy at just over 20 mins) will guide you through the process of creating for your students 2 tiles in Launchpad that will help the class to crowdsource their own "unknown vocabulary." Using Google Forms nested in the Flippity Flash Cards template, learn how to automate this process in a snap so that your students will be engaged and encouraged by the low-risk, high-reward practice they need to LEARN!
