Closing my eyes and drifting while listening to peaceful music created a weightless sensation in my mind and body, providing relief and calmness. The combination of soft hymming, piano, and nature sounds allowed me to reflect on recent stressful moments without experiencing anxiety. As I daydreamed in a peaceful environment, my thoughts flowed freely, without any negative influences, leading to a stronger spiritual connection and a feeling of being spiritually uplifted. Overall, the music meditation helped me feel physically lighter, calmer, and more relaxed while facilitating both reflection and spiritual connection.
The music therapy was good as it was really calming. The nature sounds made the space quiet and calm. It also paired well with drawing on the table. I would definitely do it again if I was stressed or anxious.
I found this experience to be somewhat revolutionary. I enjoyed the ‘good things’ page, and I felt myself lightening up. When I first started the ‘bad things’ page, I started feeling more anxiety. However, this slowly dissipated. I would recommend doing the negative page first to ensure the positive results of the activities stretch as far as possible.
It was really sweet and a good ending to the day. Just wish I sat in a more comfortable position. I would also recommend doing it separate from others. So we can't see what the others are writing, as this is a element of stress which is externally added, taking away from the positive effects of journaling.
Yes [outdoor exposure helped to reduce anxiety], I was more relaxed during the walk. I think the people I did it with may have also helped.
Going with friends is helpful. Just a simple walk, but felt good. The sun was nice. I recommend thirty minutes at least.
It worked well and was a good escape from the school environment. Would definitely recommend with friends.
