Physical Education Teachers

Mr. Sheridan has been teaching at Rhodes School for over twenty years. He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and also has earned a master's degree from Northeastern University. At Rhodes he coaches boys softball, basketball and volleyball. He also coaches girls basketball and volleyball. His favorite physical activities include: golfing, walking and basketball with his fellow teachers.

He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and is currently attending the University of Missouri pursuing his master's degree. At Rhodes he coaches boys and girls soccer. His favorite physical activities include: biking, running, swimming, yoga and basketball with his fellow teachers.

Favorite Healthy Recipe

You may have seen Mr. Kellerman enjoying the results of his favorite recipe in his office or around school. This is his recipe for a Strawberry Banana Smoothie:

  • 1 banana frozen or fresh.
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries.
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter.
  • 1 tablespoon of milled flax seed.
  • 1 ½ cups of skim or 1% milk.
  • ½ serving of any vanilla protein powder mix.
  • In a blender, place fruit, milk and then powder. If powder is placed first it will stick to the bottom. Blend to liquefy for five to ten seconds or until your preferred texture.
