The goal of this program is to assist students in developing and applying strategies in order to succeed in general education courses along with offering academic support. The emphasis of this course is the development of organization and study skills. Support for writing, organization, note taking, research, study skills, and reading in the content areas will be provided.


Additionally, the Special Education Department provides related services, as needed, which can be accessed during Study Skills time in order to support students in their efforts to achieve the goals/objectives listed in their IEPs.  Related services can include Counseling, Speech and Language services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral support, and Nursing Services.
