Functional Math

This course is offered for those students who would benefit from both practice with basic computations, as well as developing problem solving skills within real-life scenarios. Intensive remediation and practice with other basic math content may be covered depending on IEP goals and objectives. Topics that may be covered include: Menu Math, Department Store Math, Money, Measurement, and time/calendar. This course counts as a graduation distribution credit in the areas of math and may be repeated for credit.
