Introduction to Psychology is a social science course that attempts to describe, predict, understand and influence thoughts, actions, motives and feelings that help make up human life. This course provides an overview of psychological theories and their use in everyday situations. Course work focuses on the history of psychology and its research methods, the biological roots of behavior, sensation, perception, learning and conditioning, the cognitive process, consciousness and personality.
