Leadership Through Adventure

This is an elective for all students in Grades 11 and 12.  This course emphasizes social skills, communication, and leadership development using activities, challenges and experiential education. Participants will explore group dynamics, personal values, and apply them to group challenges, and orienteering/geocaching. Individuals will be encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone and challenge themselves to strengthen group bonds and reflect on character and integrity. Knot tying, high ropes course elements and student instruction may also be included.

This course can be repeated for credit with teacher approval.
