Music and Movement

This course will focus on the various elements of coordination, balance, and movement needed to successfully use the art of dance as self expression.  Students will meditate, stretch, dance, and choreograph individually and as an ensemble. Students will be encouraged to explore across disciplines, such as art/theater/poetry, in order to convey their understanding of dance. Along with choreography, students will also gain experience with a variety of different mediums and processes to articulate themselves through the medium of dance.
