Audio Production and Recording

Audio Production dives into the art of and practice of sound recording, including recording equipment and techniques, as well as post-production practices such as editing, mixing, and mastering. Students will learn types of microphones and their functions, microphone setups for different music ensembles, and how to mix and master recorded and live audio.  Students will have the opportunity to record live musicians and how to create soundtracks and sound effects to accompany visual media.
