Computer Science II

In this course, students will continue to sharpen their programming skills in Python. Development of programs using looping structures, text processing, functions and arrays are practiced. A variety of topics such as cryptography, cybersecurity, simulations and modeling are discussed to show the importance of how computer science applies to a wide range of careers. Students will also learn the basics of HTML coding for website development. Ultimately, the most important concept is how computer science skills will set students apart from others in the job market. All online modules for the course will be available for students to work at home and in class.
