Computer Science I

This course is an introductory course for students of all backgrounds in computer science and programming. In this course, you will learn problem-solving strategies, software design, and the foundations of computer science. This course has an emphasis on coding using Python- a coding language used by large organizations such as Google and NASA. A variety of coding skills will be emphasized such as: functions, randomizing numbers, if statements, and graphics among others. Prior experience with coding is not required. Career exploration will also be encouraged throughout the course by introducing a variety of career opportunities in the area of computer science.
