AP Cybersecurity

AP Cybersecurity is a broad introduction to the field and offers students the opportunity to earn college credit and an employer-endorsed credential. Cybersecurity is a high-growth field offering well-paid, entry-level positions.  Developed in partnership with college faculty and industry leaders, this yearlong course enables students to explore specific vulnerabilities, attacks, mitigations, and detection measures across a variety of domains.  Students consider the impact of cybersecurity on individuals, organizations, societies, and governments. Skills learned are applied to authentic cybersecurity situations.  After taking the course, students will be able to apply skills and concepts learned to a variety of related roles and career paths. Students are expected to take the AP Exam to receive college credit.
