This course is a more advanced approach to residential (new construction and remodeling) and commercial carpentry. Units will include:  building design, blueprint reading, building layout, concrete construction; rough framing (floor, wall, roof), metal framing, cabinet construction and installation, interior trim work, stair building and installation, and residential house wiring. A group project to build a full size wall section and wire with switches and lights is included. OSHA regulations and procedures will be taught and followed by all members of the class.
