An advanced course with a focus on color photographs via digital cameras. Technical skills will build upon knowledge from Photo I, transferring skills from the SLR to DSLR camera. Course units will emphasize visual literacy, finding meaning in a visually over-stimulating world and creating work with meaning through use of the psychology of color. Students will participate in regular critiques and utilize feedback to improve their work.
Students may earn three (3) college credits for (Art 1450 - Digital Photography I)through Three Rivers Community College if a “C” or better is earned in the course. Students must register for this opportunity by the deadline and are responsible for all fees. Upon successful completion of the course, students can request a transcript, and credits may be transferable to other institutions.
