Google Classroom
Log in to see announcements and class documents.
musictheory.net
This website is great for note identification and keyboard note identification. Click on exercises at the top and choose a concept. Once you choose a concept, use the gear in the top right corner of your screen to customize the exercise for your needs! There is a screencast that shows you how to get started on the class Google Drive folder. Try to do 5–10 minutes a night and about three to four times a week or until you master a concept. Focus on the note identification and piano note identification.
Noteflight

We will use Noteflight in class in order to learn how to write and compose music. You can access all of your in-class projects at home via this link!
Soundtrap
Soundtrap is online electronic music composition software. Think of it as GarageBand in the cloud! Log in with your RHAM Google Account in order to access your Soundtrap account.
GarageBand
http://www.apple.com/ios/garageband/
We will use GarageBand periodically throughout the semester as a way to compose music and demonstrate musical concepts such as form. Although GarageBand is a Mac only program, if you have an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, you can download the app and have the application on your mobile device!
Rhythm Sight Reading Trainer
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rhythm-sight-reading-trainer/id396302174?mt=8
This app will help with rhythm reading. It is available for an Apple device running iOS 9.3 or later. It costs $2.99 so please do not feel like you need to purchase it. If you have some extra iTunes gift cards around or want extra help with technology, this is a great tool!
