Camp ground Rules
always supervise children and pets. Keep tracks clear. Beware of animal dangers, camp-fires, bush-fires, floods, cyclones, falling branches, your personal security and belongings etc.
Camp at your own risk; you’re in remote bushland, so you're responsible for your and fellow camper's safety, so take it slow, be careful and have a great time.

You are responsible for managing your surroundings fire risks. Please strictly adhere to NSW fire bans, and avoid fire risks. Any violation or fire damage may be subject to prosecution.

Designated Fire Pits only
Fires are permitted only in designated pits/barrels, by which you must clear away all vegetation across your camp site.
Ensure fires are at least 4m away from all bush vegetation and never has any overhanging branches overhead.
Place fires and stoves in a cleared area where the wind blows away from tents.
Keep fires small and covered whenever possible, always avoiding flying embers.
Use a shovel to control your fire and rake to keep your site clear of combustibles and vegetation.
If using a new burn barrel, run a fire for at least 1hr, keeping away from all smoke, to allow any paint or residue to burn off.
Fully Extinguish Unattended Fires
Please ensure fires are fully extinguished, (using water/sand), whenever unattended and before leaving.
You MUST have enough water to put out a fire properly, always keep a bucket full of water and shovel handy for sand.
Keep a fire blanket and fire extinguisher handy.
Extinguish and cover fires before bed and upon leaving.

BYO: Use only purchased firewood supplied or you have brought along or sticks and "small" logs around your specific site only.

Security/trail cameras and sensors exist around the property boundary, entry points, trails, bush, sheds, caravan and farm areas.
For privacy, cameras are NOT focused on camp sites, nor within toilet/shower areas.
Never wander into restricted areas, keep to your camp site area and trails in/out of the property.
Camping and access to the property is entirely at your own risk.
Restricted areas: stay out of restricted areas outside the camp zone, as these may have risks such as, dangerous goods and items stored and dangerous activities underway.
Beware of risks and danger while camping and at the farm, such as:
FIRE!
Heavy farm machinery and tools may be in use and are "extremely dangerous". Never climb or go near equipment, tools or vehicles.
Vehicles: always keep tracks clear!
Missing - lost in bush - as we are surrounded by hectares of dense bush and national reserve.
Drowning risks from dams, creeks, swamps, bog or very strong currents riverside and coastal surf.
Beware of falling tree branches across the forest. Avoid camping under trees.
Strong winds
Wildlife, animal and plant dangers may include:
Spiders, ants and other Insect bites and stings
Mosquitoes, midges, ticks, leeches
lizards and very large monitor lizards
Large birds of prey, swooping birds.
Bats
Foxes, wild dogs or feral cats
Deer and wild pigs
Livestock
Toxic, thorny or stinging plants and fungi
Microbial
Always wash your hands regularly with soap and clean water, before eating or touching your face.
Always thoroughly wash your food with clean water before consuming.
