Every teacher has a landing page in Buzz with their contact information. The best way to communicate with your teacher is through their Google Meets classroom (found on the landing page in Buzz). Teachers are available every school day in their Google Meets classroom during regular school hours. Simply click on the "Daily Drop-In" link on their landing page. If the teacher is not available in Google Meets, or it is after school hours, please send him/her a text or leave a voice mail. Email is the last way to communicate; it takes the longest to get a response, so it should be used as a last resort. If you need support with getting in touch with a teacher, please contact your Success Coach.

In order for iSVA to fulfill a VOE request, students MUST be on pace in ALL courses. Additionally, NEW students must be active for five school days before this request is made. When making a request of iSVA for verification of enrollment, please fill out this form. Please allow at least 48 hours for request to be fulfilled.

It is important to keep your information updated with iSVA. To change your phone number or email address, please contact your Success Coach. If you have a change in your mailing address, please email isvaoperations@ischoolvirtual.com.
At iSVA, we do not take attendance like a traditional school, but we use participation levels as our measure of attendance. Your attendance is “taken” each day that you complete and submit assignments in Buzz. Students must actively participate in our school by working in their assigned courses, reviewing and engaging in course content, and completing gradable assignments on or before their due date.
If a student knows that s/he is going to be absent, s/he should work ahead in his/her courses so that s/he does not fall behind the recommended pace. If a student is unexpectedly absent and gets behind pace, s/he should immediately contact his/ her success coach to come up with a plan for getting back on track.
If you cannot attend a live class you will need to watch the recording which you can find on your teacher's landing page.
Prioritize your day by knowing your live class schedule and attending those classes every day. Your Success Coach can help you make a schedule based on your individual needs. Here is a copy you can begin with Link.

Getting stuck on an assignment usually occurs in one of the following two situations:
Your teacher has not yet graded your assignment -- In this case, please be patient. Your teacher has 2 school days to grade each assignment. If it has been longer than two days, please contact your teacher.
You have not met the mastery requirements on the assignment. Remember that you have three attempts on each assignment. You must meet mastery requirements before being able to move on. If you do not meet mastery on your third and final attempt, please go see your teacher in their Google Meets classroom for a review before you can be granted access to the next assignment.
If you are stuck for some other reason, please contact your Success Coach for assistance.
When you get stuck on an assignment, first check out the class resources that your teacher has provided on their landing page. If you still need help after using the resources, please contact your teacher during his/her office hours via Google Meets.
Please see the technology assistance page on this website. It has how-to videos, directions, and troubleshooting tips. It also has a link to request a Chromebook, which you can request for FREE at any point in the year. Sometimes you will need to submit a Help Desk ticket for Chromebook issues. In that case, please talk to your Success Coach in their Google Meets so that you can share your screen and your coach can see exactly what is happening with your computer. S/he will first try to troubleshoot the problem for you and will submit a ticket if needed. If your computer will not start, or you are having trouble logging in, please give your Success Coach a call and s/he will walk you through the process.
