Seventh Grade Overnight Trip: Texas History in Austin & San Antonio
Our seventh-grade students bring their study of Texas History to life through a multi-day educational tour of Austin and San Antonio.
As students travel across the state capital and one of Texas's most historic cities, they encounter the people, places, and events that shaped Texas from Spanish colonization through independence and statehood. Classroom lessons become tangible as students stand inside the Texas State Capitol, visit the Alamo, explore the San Antonio Missions, walk the River Walk, and experience many of the historic sites they have spent the year studying.
Beyond its academic value, the overnight trip encourages students to develop independence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories with classmates and teachers. For many students, it is their first overnight school trip and an exciting milestone in their middle school experience.

Eighth Grade Trip: Washington, D.C.
As the capstone of our middle school history curriculum, eighth-grade students have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., each June through our educational travel partner, EF Tours. Throughout the trip, students explore the institutions, monuments, memorials, and museums that tell the story of the American experiment in self-government. Visits often include the United States Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, the National Archives, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian museums, and many of the iconic memorials along the National Mall.
Standing where history was made allows students to deepen their understanding of the Constitution, the founding of the United States, the sacrifices made to preserve liberty, and the responsibilities of citizenship. The experience reinforces the themes studied throughout their history courses while inspiring a greater appreciation for the principles upon which our nation was founded.
Like all of our educational travel experiences, the Washington, D.C., trip is intentionally connected to our classical liberal arts curriculum. It offers students the opportunity to see history come alive, cultivate lasting friendships, and return home with a richer understanding of the people, principles, and events that continue to shape our republic. The trip is offered each June through our partnership with EF Tours. Literature & History in Scotland and England
Our new High School trip to Scotland and England immerses students in the places that have shaped the Western literary and historical tradition. Rather than simply reading about these places, students walk the same streets as great authors, visit castles and cathedrals, explore museums and historic landmarks, and gain a deeper appreciation for the people and events that have influenced the world they study in class.
These educational tours are intentionally connected to our classical liberal arts curriculum and provide students with opportunities to see literature and history come alive in unforgettable ways while building lasting friendships with classmates and faculty. Senior Trip: Italy & Greece
As the culmination of their classical education, seniors have the opportunity to travel to Italy and Greece. This once-in-a-lifetime journey allows students to experience firsthand the civilizations, works of art, and historic sites they have spent years studying in literature, history, philosophy, and the fine arts.
The trip serves as the capstone of our classical liberal arts curriculum, bringing together years of study and helping students recognize the profound influence of Greece and Rome on Western civilization. It is an opportunity to see history come alive, deepen friendships with classmates and faculty, and create memories that will remain with them long after graduation.
The Senior Trip is offered over spring break each year through our partnership with EF Tours. Parent information sessions are held throughout the school year to discuss the itinerary, registration process, cost, fundraising opportunities, and travel logistics.
