Digital Skills Workshops provide additional help to review skills with a digital skills instructors. We are aware that everyone has a different method of learning and at times one needs additional guidance from a person. Digital skills instructors can guide and review topics addressed in beginner, intermediate or advance level.
Who can join ?
Individuals who need additional one-on-one with an instructor to master a digital skill would benefit from attending a workshop. If videos, images and reading steps are not enough, sign up and join !
International Rescue Committee is a nonprofit organization that runs on donations and government grants. Digital Inclusion is a branch within the organization that runs on donations and government fund. The organization is restricted to aid certain individuals that are eligible for services.
Eligibility :
Refugee
Asylee
Parolee
SIV
Cuban/Haitian Entrant
Victim of Trafficking
Amerasian from Vietnam
Legal Permanent Residents
(within 5 years of arrival or asylum)
Priority :
All newly arrived refugees in their 1st year
Cash assistance recipients
Unemployed refugees not receiving cash assistance
Employed refugees in need of services to retain employment
