Watershed Book Bin

The Watershed Book Bin blends literacy with water, STEM skills and careers, and diversity in characters and authors that match your classroom.

While most of the books included in the bin are for younger readers, there are ways for educators of students in grades pre-K-12th grade to use this resource, including:

• Class story time

• Free read option for younger readers

• Buddy read between younger and older students

• Identifying the environmental message

• ...and more!

Educators can borrow the bin for one week! To request the bin and schedule a pick-up, contact Mary Ronan at mary.ronan@dec.ny.gov.
