If you missed the Formation Day 9.26.2026, Access all Content and Materials!
This year we will walk a single path with two movements, and it will lead us to two concrete fruits. The Rule of Life reminds us that each of us assumes personal responsibility for our own formation (RL 7), and that the team is the natural setting where that formation grows (RL 14). So while each woman owns her journey, none of us walks it alone. We will accompany one another, and our monthly team dialogue will be the place where that accompaniment becomes personal.
We begin by going deeper into Regnum Christi itself: what it offers us and what it asks of us. We said yes to a charism that seeks to make present the mystery of Christ (as outlined in the 6 Fundamental Traits of the RC Lay Apostle) who goes out to people, reveals the love of His heart, gathers them together, forms them as apostles, sends them out, and accompanies them (SRCF 8).
This year we will focus on "reveals the love of His heart" and "accompanies them." We will explore both through the four dimensions of integral formation. In our spiritual formation, we will look at how Regnum Christi draws us into a daily, personal encounter with Christ in prayer and in the sacraments. In our human formation, we will look at the virtues, the relationships, and the self-mastery that make us trustworthy witnesses. In our intellectual formation, we will deepen our understanding of the Catholic faith, the Rule of Life, and the Formation Pathway, so that our love for Christ is also an informed love. In our apostolic formation, we will examine what it means to be supernatural in our aspirations, magnanimous of heart, audacious in self-giving, tenacious in difficulty, and practical and effective in action (RL 9).
Having looked at the movement, we turn to the woman who said yes to it. Formation is never generic; God forms each of us through the particular life, temperament, history, and gifts He has entrusted to us. We will reflect on who we are in three mirrors. We will ask who we are in our own eyes, naming our strengths, our wounds, and the patterns that shape us. We will ask who we are in the eyes of others, receiving the honest and loving reflection of our families, our friends, and our team. And most importantly, we will ask who we are in the eyes of God, the One who knew us before we were formed in the womb and who designed us for a mission no one else can fulfill.
Everything we do this year points toward two personal outcomes. The first is an elevator speech: a brief, authentic, personal account of what Regnum Christi is to you. Not a definition from a brochure, but your own words, ready to share with a friend, a coworker, or a stranger when the Holy Spirit opens a door (RL 9, 7°). The second is a personal mission statement that flows from your calling and is inseparable from who you are and how God designed you. It will be the kind of statement that could only be yours, because it grows out of the self-knowledge and encounter with Christ that this year will cultivate.
Our hope is simple. By the end of the year, each of us will know more clearly the movement we belong to, the woman God created us to be, and the mission He is sending us to live. Christ our King. Thy Kingdom Come!
