POMP Senate
The Pomp Senate is a collaborative student leadership initiative facilitated by the Student Council Executive Board. This group brings together leaders from various student organizations across the school to foster a more inclusive and engaging environment for all students.
By uniting representatives from diverse clubs and student groups, the Pomp Senate aims to enhance communication, promote collaboration, and encourage student-driven initiatives that contribute to a welcoming and vibrant school culture. Through regular meetings and coordinated efforts, the Pomp Senate serves as a platform for student leaders to share ideas, align goals, and implement programs that reflect the collective interests of the student body.
This initiative aligns with Pomperaug High School’s broader commitment to creating a safe and inclusive school climate, as outlined in the district’s Safe School Climate Plan. The plan emphasizes fostering positive relationships, promoting respect and responsibility, and encouraging active student participation in shaping a supportive educational environment.
