In the event of an emergency in which an Incident Command Team must be established, the following key roles will be established:
· Emergency Director – functions as head decision-maker and coordinates efforts of Incident Commander(s)
· Program Incident Commander (PIC) – may be responsible for a physical region or particular task, directs Case Manager Supervisors; should be an individual with appropriate qualifications and credentials to make appropriate treatment decisions for children in care
· Case Manager Supervisor – establishes communication and directs activities of Case Managers
· Case Manager – establishes communication and facilitates continuity of services for placements
· Operations Incident Commander (OIC) – may be responsible for any non-programmatic function not requiring specific therapeutic qualifications
The Emergency Director will assign individual(s) as applicable to the roles of PIC and OIC. The following is the succession of individuals to the role of Emergency Director
· CEO/Executive Director
· Administrator
· Program Director
· Treatment Director
