Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade come to the library once a week to check out books, hear a story, and/or participate in a lesson. The recently revised Montana Content Standards for Library Media and Information Literacy are closely followed as we explore books and resources, and gain knowledge through inquiry and creative thinking. In the library, we follow the Path of the Ram and practice acting with respect and integrity as we move independently and make choices that support each other's experience here. We maintain a safe and welcoming environment and practice being responsible with the books we borrow.
K-1 Students may check out one book at a time
2-5 Students may check out two books at a time
If you are unable to locate a book or a book has been damaged, you may be asked to pay a fee to replace it. Please email Ms. Fay at angie_fay@redlodge.k12.mt.us to discuss options.
During storytime and lessons we practice listening with our whole body, like a husky!
