Alternative Education Information
Redlands Unified offers various alternatives for students in high school that may benefit from a different learning environment. The information below outlines programs for students that live within RUSD boundaries. For additional information, contact your student's counselor.
Orangewood High School
Orangewood HS is a continuation school designed to support students that may be behind in credits. The alternative program provides smaller classes and individualized support. Students must be in 10th grade and 16 years old to apply.
Redlands Independent Study Education (RISE)
The RISE program offers RUSD students an independent learning environment outside of a comprehensive high school.
eAcademy
Redlands eAcademy offers students a blended learning environment of online and in person instruction.
Home Hospital
The Home Hospital program is for students that are unable to attend school because of a medical diagnosis. Paperwork to apply can be picked up from the District Office and must be taken to a student's doctor.
