Activity 1: Decorate with Paper Palms

Draw and cut out your own palms to decorate the house.

Activity 2: Triumphant Entry Relay Race

Make a relay race using coats from your closet and home made paper palms. One person pretends to be Jesus riding his donkey. If you have a pony stick...even better. The other people must make a path from the start of the race to the finish using the coats and paper palms. "Jesus" may not touch the floor and so must step on the clothing and palms. To continue the path, players must take items from behind "Jesus" and move them in front of him. Hallways or long sections of your home or yard work well. You can even make it more challenging by making the path travel your whole house.
