Preparatory News from MS PAMPEL
On Friday 20 January, our Annual Inter-House Gala took place. The school pool witnessed a very exciting Inter-House Swimming Gala that contained so much enthusiasm and physical effort. A dedicated team of timekeepers stood poised with their stopwatches at one end of the pool, while house supporters and teams cheered enthusiastically from the sides. Split into different age categories, every House gave great efforts and competition was close throughout the races. The relays generated huge excitement – speed and lots of noise were evident as every position and point became vital towards the overall scores. In the end, there could only be one winner and it was Glasgow, who eventually ran out as our swimming champions for 2023! They took the title with a strong finish towards the end of the gala. Congratulations to Glasgow.
The overall results of the Inter-House Swimming Gala are as follows:
· 1st: Glasgow with 240 points
· 2nd: Edinburgh with 168 points
· 3rd: Dundee with 157 points

Calling on all our avid readers!
For 13 years, World Read Aloud Day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud!
In honour of this day, we would like to ask our learners to help us continue to build our Sharebrary, by donating any old/unused books on the 1st of February 2023.
Please write your name, surname and grade in the book/s that you are donating so that we can always remember your contribution. Any books that are brought on this day can be handed to register teachers and commendations will be awarded.
Together we can inspire more of our students to read!
