In addition to reading for pleasure and any activities that your homeroom teacher provides, here are resources for students to go on (all optional):
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or suggestions/want to touch base. I'm available to return emails M-F between 9-4pm.

For Kinder & 1st:
www.lalilo.com <<< Email Mrs. Benitez if you need the school password.
https://bogglesworldesl.com/reading_selections.html From Lanternfish, 1 page readings to see from online (or if you want to print them out). I suggest the animal stories like "baby animals in spring," as it is similar to what we've last talked about in the classroom.
Vowel families (mostly worksheets, but could create flashcards with the word patterns): https://bogglesworldesl.com/voweldigraphs.htm
No technology necessary activities:
ABC game: You can say the category of "food" (animals could be possible for K and 1st too), and then those around go back and forth through the alphabet saying the following letter. For example: "Apple, banana, carrot..."
Draw nature: Spot a flower you see near where you live. Draw it. Then, a few days later, draw it again. Repeat a few times, to see how that particular flower changes (or lasts).
"I spy" -have the person who spies describe something in the room or outside, using specific adjectives (big/small, rough, smooth, feathery).
For 2nd:
Padlet Story writing: Step by step to create a fictional problem-solving story involving an animal. https://padlet.com/ellenbenitez/g4fgn6jjib1121pi
Google Earth: You can read and interactively go through "where on Google World is Carmen San Diego," or look at cool streets, gardens and lakes throughout the world! https://earth.google.com/web/@35.358062,138.733637,3572a,18275d,35y,-18h,47t,0r/data=CgQSAggB
No technology necessary activities:
Unscramble: Can be played with family and friends, not just on school Zoom. Pick a category, and have 1 person write a word "scrambled" up, for others to have to guess the right word. e.g. category: nature word: craalac
Draw nature: Spot a flower you see near where you live. Draw it. Then, a few days later, draw it again. Repeat a few times, to see how that particular flower changes (or lasts).
For 3rd-5th:
